lyrics

Sometimes I hesitate to
Mention the inevitable
Going to the efforts to
Clear off my schedule
So open up the flood gates
And batten the hatches
The barometric pressure
Is heating up the moon
Turn down the TV
I'm about to rule the land
With a mighty vacation
And a gentle northwestern gale
Frankly there's no telling
Which direction they will fall
When the glory comes in
Small packages and balloons

Not to mention tales of decades who
Might remember polygraphs of yesteryear
And forever friends on a square wave
Destroyed by antiquated robots
And placed on hold for later
Until the irritating noise begins to disappear
Never shall our frequency betray us
Or fall behind in the winter of reason
Categorized by madmen who wish me dead
Later realizing continued failure comes downstairs
Leaving only the residue of heathens inside
The receptacle of confidence and malfeasance

Lately the state of things has become
Right only for the days thanks to the zombie
Who handed me it's passport until another time
Large aboriginal conflicts united the leftovers
When you see the limelight at the end of the tunnel vision
Forward thinking makes my guts wrench
When the thoughts of course confront me
Tried and true and tried and untrue
Both can be said about the melange
Love them while you can and listen when it's able-bodied
For themes based on themes taste better when the snake bites its own real to real
Tumble under the gun until the cows meander into the streets behind us
And welcome in the position of the sun and moon hours before the solstice
Durations can seem like bitterness when the stars ask for guidance
And the gods beat drums for the annual dance of the bible-thumpers

Tomorrow is a really new notion which becomes a fraction of yesterdays
Unbeknownst to the sleeping giants is a sinister universe of forgotten underbellys
Where everything looks below zero next to the open doors of time
Look further and further for the last trial over the hills when the dawn comes this morning
Listen for the queen bee over yonder who's posted loosely on the fence of love
Can there be anyway that comes between the right hand man and the ego?
Is there any way out of the hostige crisis of the mind?
Polyrhythms of interest are waiting in line for the fasting of thieves in the end of times
Pragmatic whistling carry the tune of the ubiquitous play-date
That arrives near the opening scene

Frozen in time are the tidal waves of ritual which envelope the strands and feathers
Tonight we reach the destination and rethink the entire thing from front to backyard
Love is watching
Entitlement never squandered the icy bridge between neighborhoods so deeply
And the carverns that are left make a headache seem like a soft dream
Wander not away from the wedding bells of Babylon
Forever forced to do it's bidding, you're better off listening to reasonable people who tell you that there's life after dependability
Question arise as we lunge towards our destiny for the future primitive is bright
Lost ceremonies contributed to the continental divide
Between the Grey and the off-grid where temperatures rose today's partial rays

Do know that relying on badges for your last purchase of a foothold
Will leave you touring the caves of madness until there's a way to call help
Look deep into the tight spots of optimistic outlooks for a way round the bends
Don't underestimate the power of thermal warnings across this forsaken tundra
For the armpit of arrogance has a way of forgetting to forgive atrocious behavior
Twelve hundred actors and actresses can't work out a better ending for the quandary
Take heed lasting too long in the fenced yard of nations
They're be a bleeding heart waiting on a stick near your frontline
